The NEW Manrose flat channel acoustic damper has been designed as a cost effective and most
importantly, a very easy way of reducing the noise from your ventilation system. The flat channel
acoustic damper by Manrose is a lightweight, low profile construction which provides safety
advantages over metal silencers. The risk of corrosion is removed meaning there is no need for replacement. The unique Manrose acoustic material used comes with microban anti-microbial
protection built-in, offering an enhanced resistance against bacteria and mould growth and is also dust, fibre and formaldehyde free, and inhibits the onset of "sick building syndrome". This makes the Manrose flat channel acoustic damper suitable for use in homes, offices, schools and hospitals.
Manrose flat channel acoustic damper has been designed to exceed the current building requirements of approved document Part F and Part L of the building regulations.
To reduce appliance noise it is most recommended by Manrose to install flat channel acoustic damper room side of the ventilation system or to limit cross talk between rooms installed near each inlet & outlet.
